Will my porch need planning permission?
Project type
Porches are allowable under permitted development (i.e. you'll not need to seek planning permission) if it complies with the following rules:
- The ground floor area won't be greater than three metres
- It isn't going to be higher than three metres above ground floor level
- It isn't going to be within two metres of a boundary or the highway
